This functional clock was inspired by the art of Ellsworth Kelly, and is an artful and useful addition to office or home decor. The clock is driven by a battery-powered 24-hour movement. Time is indicated by a hand that sweeps over the series of 13 dots; when one end of the hand "sets" at the bottom-most dot (12 o'clock), the other end "rises" from behind the fold at the upper-most dot (also 12 o'clock). This scheme is reminiscent of a medieval tower clock that had but a single hand.

While the shown color scheme is a white fold over a blue base, this design can be reproduced with a broad selection of fold and base colors, such as black over white, white over black, silver over blue, or virtually any combination that complements your décor or logo.
